Applying for a PhD - Workshop Series

PhD Application Workshop Series

Since some of our MA students go on to PhD programs, the UNC Charlotte Philosophy Department and Women’s and Gender Studies Program are teaming up in Fall 2020 to offer a workshop to any interested graduate students, undergraduate students, and recent graduates to discuss the process of applying to PhD programs. At the workshop, Philosophy and Women’s and Gender Studies faculty will be answering questions about application materials, choosing schools, and preparations for a PhD program. Students from WGST, Philosophy, Latin American Studies, Religious Studies, and more, are welcome to attend these meetings. All sessions will be held on Zoom. Please email the UNC Charlotte Graduate Program Director, Dr. Andrea Pitts at apitts5@uncc.edu for the Zoom meeting links.
