Southeast Roundtable on Philosophy of the Americas (SERPA)

The Southeast Roundtable on Philosophy of the Americas (SERPA) meets annually to provide an informal, helpful atmosphere for presenting work-in-progress in the areas of American/the Americas and pragmatist philosophy. UNC Charlotte’s philosophy department ( includes seven fulltime faculty members who work in American philosophies—with an emphasis on the plurality and diversity of the field—and we are excited to collaborate with faculty and graduate students in the region.
