Dr. Trevor Pearce Awarded NSF Grant

The philosophy department congratulates Dr. Trevor Pearce for being awarded a 2016-2017 National Science Foundation (NSF) Scholars Award, which provides a twelve-month release to conduct scholarly research. Dr. Pearce’s fellowship will run through the NSF’s Science, Technology and Society program, and it will support his work on a book manuscript entitled Pragmatism’s Evolution: Organism and Environment in American Philosophy.
